HUGE shoutout to Aly for making our baby girl feel so special and celebrated. We initially visited to celebrate our daughter’s 10 birthday, but now this is our new favorite place! We were blown away by the amazing food and incredible customer service. Aly was a blast. We loved her bubbly spirit and she answered all our questions. She also made some great suggestions since it was our first time. The Borough burger, sesame soy wings, noir martini, and roasted old fashioned….everything was . THANK YOU AGAIN ALY!!!

Worth the visit to Borough! We had lunch here on a Sunday arriving about noon and this place was busy! Service was definitely a bit slow to start but that is expected when a restaurant is buzzing like this was! Nice eclectic menus with some creative choices. Good draft selection and the cocktails were good. The home made chips served at the table are very good and a nice way to hold off those hunger pains when it is so busy. Service was on point once our server had a chance to catch up. Food was all very good…Chickpea burger, Buffalo Chicken Steak Sandwich, Sweet Potato Bowl and Buffalo Chicken Bowl. The place is very noisy and would benefit from some acoustic panels of some soft surfaces to absorb some sound. We will go back and try a more off prime time.

Glad we decided to stay at The Borough in Downingtown for the game, as the initial experience at the host station felt disorganized and less welcoming than expected. However, things quickly turned around once Christina started service at our table.. Christina was warm, attentive, and instantly made the visit feel more positive. Her upbeat attitude completely changed the tone of the evening. The food was good and flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and Christina’s outstanding service made the entire experience memorable. The Borough is clearly becoming a great addition to Downingtown

Ok this is based on a vegetarian's view point. We went during lunch time. Even though it was packed, we managed to get a table. Got complimentary house chips which was delish. We had high hopes for the place. We ordered hummus platter for appetizer. It was overpriced at 13 for 4 celery pieces, 4 carrots, sooper runny hummus and one super small pita cut into 6 pieces. We planned to take a black bean and quinoa burger, but they had already run out. We ordered half tomato burrata and half greek salad. Both were around 8 for half and even though Greek salad was good quantity, tomato burrata was just 2 grilled scallions, half of yellow heirloom tomato and 4 halves of grape tomato with balsamic reduction. Both clearly lacked any kind of seasoning. My daughter took a cucumber avocado roll which was the most decent out of all the paid food. Over all the experience was an expensive and less satisfying affair. I don't know if it is because of busy time or new chefs. It didn't quiet make a good impression.

Heard about The Borough opening and gave it a try on a Saturday night. Great crowd but had no problem finding a spot at the bar. Bartenders were great with recommendations for food choices and always around when we needed another drink. We had the Borough Roll, Stem Roll and a pizza. All were excellent. We even brought our daughters back after their college soccer game for a post game dinner. We had a great conversation with the owners, Jt and Keith, about the space and the direction they are taking the place. We highly recommend and will definitely be back soon.

Was waiting for this place to open for a while and I wasnt disappointed! Free spiced chips were nice. Live music was real nice, loud atmosphere but so are many places. The crust on the pizza is perfect, pizza overall is very good. the Bavarian pretzel is better than the one down the street at victory. Im curious what the white beer cheese served with it is made of? its really interesting. The Donut Fried Chicken Sandwich might look at bit sloppy but the taste was incredible. The Asian chicken in there is phenomenal though next time I may opt for the brioche bun just so my hands aren't so sticky! This one might want to come with wet wipes! Overall, had a great time, I'll have to be back this weekend to checkout a game here! So happy to have another great place here in Dtown!

We are very excited about the Borough opening. The sushi was 10/10 and honestly the best I’ve had around Downingtown. I got the Borough Roll. The pork belly burnt ends had fantastic flavor. The blue cheese that came with the pretzel was not our favorite, but the pretzel was just fine and hit the spot. The sweet potato bowl was good but missing the maple glaze and tahini listed on the menu- that would have added a lot of flavor that it was lacking. Overall, we had a fantastic time and for it being their second day officially open, service was fast and smooth. The interior is open, airy, and modern. The large round booths will be great for hosting friends in town for dinner. Tons of TV’s across the entire space will make this a great game-day spot.
